Army Public School, Umroi Military Station has become the first school in the entire state of Meghalaya to set up Hydroponic Lab. Hydroponic is the science of cultivating plants in a nutrient-rich solution.

The Lab was set up to enchance Life-Skill among children keeping in view the technological advancement taking place in all areas, including agriculture. Hydroponic Lab was set up with the assistance of Hydroponic Expert, Rudy Kharmawphlang, founder of Saw Aiom Fresh – Meghalaya’s First Aqua and Hydroponic.
