Army Public School, Umroi Military Station has become the first school in the entire state of Meghalaya to set up Hydroponic Lab. Hydroponic is the science of cultivating plants in a nutrient-rich solution.  The Lab was set up to enchance Life-Skill among children keeping in view the technological advancement taking place in all areas, including agriculture. Hydroponic Lab was set up with the assistance of Hydroponic Expert, Rudy K Kharmawphlang, founder of Saw Aiom Fresh – Meghalaya’s First Aqua and Hydroponic.
